Agistix is a web-based, flexible shipment processing platform with a rules based routing guide that is accessible to all authorized users to process any type of shipment, via any mode, from/to any location by any carrier. Beyond what a TMS traditionally addresses, Agistix can also handle:

  • Inbound supplier shipments, including drop-ship material sent directly from a supplier to a customer/end user
  • Outbound shipments not going to a customer, i.e. non-inventory shipments, intra-plant moves, replacement shipments, capital equipment moves, etc
  • Outbound shipments sent from a non-ERP integrated location

The platform runs on J2EE/Oracle with Red hat/Linux using open source code; i.e. apache, jboss, ajax, json, etc. Agistix has partnered with Terremark to host the system. Terremark (Nasdaq: TMRK) is SAS 70 Type II certified and provides 99.95% service level agreement.

Terremark provides 24/7/365 monitoring and alerts of all Agistix data hardware and software. Agistix architecture is fully load balanced and redundant, data tier security with Oracle Data Guard 10g, and incremental backs are taken nightly with weekly full backups.
